Looking for Denim

Regular readers will know that the 'strength' in these 'strong in denim' performances manifests itself in many ways, and in this clip from 1989, the strength is derived from Hasselhoff's stance. The angle between Hasselhoff's thighs is 72 degrees, just 1 degree shy of what scientists have discovered to be the 'optimal strength angle' for denim-clad bipeds.

Unlike other artists (think Status Quo), Hasselhoff knows that strength does not increase in proportion to the widening of legs indefinitely, and instead holds the angle when he reaches the sweet spot (around 28 seconds in).

Forte dans le denim

Highway to Denim

Plant in denim...

...equals strength in denim. I don't think we'll see tighter jeans in this entire blog. Thanks to Angela for the link.
